Things You'll Need
Instructions
Check the vehicle battery charge with a multimeter if the vehicle fails to turn on. If the battery is sufficiently charged, ensure that the connecting wires are firmly connected. Charge the battery if the multimeter returns a low reading.
Secure the servo plug in the receiver if the steering fails to respond. The servo controls are essential to the steering mechanism. If the servo plug is firmly attached to the receiver, check the plug wiring for damage or wear. Replace damaged or worn wires. If the wires are not damaged or worn, replace the servo completely.
If the RC vehicle drives or accelerates sluggishly, inspect the wheels and transaxle. String and other debris can get caught in the wheels and transaxle, binding the vehicle and impeding its performance. Turn the RC vehicle off and carefully remove any debris with scissors or a narrow screwdriver.
