Inspect the rotor blade for cracks or other damage if the helicopter is flying roughly or unevenly. Replace the rotor blade if it shows signs of damage. Remove the blade bolt at the top of the helicopter using a Phillips screwdriver. Slide the old rotor blade free of the blade grip. Insert the new blade into the rotor grip. Ensure that the holes within the blade are aligned correctly with the blade grip. Reinstall the blade bolt and screw.
Check the main gear for bent or missing teeth, or any other damage. Replace it if the main gear is warped or otherwise damaged. Remove the retaining pin from the center of the main gear with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Extract the old main gear and reinsert the new main gear. Carefully align the hole in the main shaft with hole in the main gear. Press the retaining pin into the hole.
Replace the motor if it fails to operate after having ensured a sufficient fuel supply or battery charge. Detach the motor from the E-Board. Unscrew the screws mounting the motor with a Phillips screwdriver. Extract the old motor and replace it with the new motor. Reinstall the mounting screws. Plug the connectors for the motor back into the E-Board.
