Things You'll Need
Instructions
Draw a light bulb on a sheet of paper using a blue colored pen. You don't need to be good at drawing to do this project, so long as the drawings have some resemblance to the actual items. Write the word "Light" under the drawing for clarity. On one side of the base of the drawing of the light bulb write "+" and on the other side write "-." This shows the two terminal connections on a light bulb.
Draw the shape of a battery elsewhere on the sheet of paper using a blue pen. Draw a slightly raised part on the top of the drawing, the same as on an AA battery. Write "+" next to it and at the bottom of the drawing write "-." Write "Battery" under the drawing.
Draw a switch centrally between the drawing of the light bulb and the battery. Write "Switch" next to it and then write "In" on the top of the drawing and "Out" on the bottom.
Use a red pen and draw line between the "+" on the battery and the "In" on the light switch. Draw another red line from the "Out" on the switch to the "+" on the light bulb.
Draw a black continuous line from the "-" on the light bulb to the "-" on the battery. This completes a simple series light circuit diagram for the kids' project.
