How to Make a Keg Bung

People have brewed beer in casks all over the world for centuries. One of the quirkiest pieces of hardware on a cask is referred to as the bung and bunghole. The bunghole refers to the hole in the top of the cask. To prevent leakage, a bung or stopper is inserted with pressure to close the cask while it rests on its side. Today, bungs are made from plastic, rubber or wood.
