Origami Fighter Plane Instructions

You don't need to spend lots of money to have amusing toys for kids. You can create toy airplanes from bits of paper you find around the house. Used them for decoration or fly them against each other to see whose goes the furthest. It is also a good skill to teach children to fashion their own toys. You can create a fighter style paper airplane by folding a piece of paper in certain places.

Instructions

    • 1

Fold a piece of paper in half along the length.

    • 2

Fold a corner on each side of the fold in and diagonally downward until it meets the first fold.

    • 3

Fold the paper down so the inside edges are level with the centerline crease, starting from the tip. Do this on both sides of the crease.

    • 4

Turn the paper over. Fold the paper in half along the centerline.

    • 5

Fold the wings on each side down until they are level with the centerline.

Grip the plane from the first fold which will resemble a jet fighter plane. Throw the plane to see how far it can fly.
