Instructions
Identify the images you want to review for possible inclusion in your portfolio. A portfolio should not have more than 20 pictures and should only contain the best of your work.
Lay all the images face up on a table. Sort the pictures into different subject matters. Include a mix of vertical, horizontal, color, black and white and sepia images, if applicable.
Arrange the selected photos in a sequence. Start with your strongest picture, and have a strong picture to finish with. Most people will remember what they see first and last; by placing your strongest work in these two positions, you increase the probability that your work will be remembered.
Insert your selected images into a portfolio binder. You may choose to place a date on the binder as a reminder of when it was last reviewed.
