Things You'll Need
Instructions
Download the photo-editing program you want to use. Once the download is complete, double-click the icon to open the program.
Click ̶0;File̶1; in the navigation bar of the program and select ̶0;Open̶1; from the drop-down menu. Use your cursor to navigate to the folder containing the image you want to edit. Highlight the file and click ̶0;OK̶1; to open the image in the program.
Select the icon that looks like a small bandage. This icon can usually be found in the left margin of the program when it first opens up. Position the cursor over the spot or mark on the picture you want to remove. Adjust the size of the cursor in the toolbar so the cursor just fits over the spot.
Click your mouse and the program will remove the spot and replace the area with pixels from the vicinity of the spot. In most cases, this will work with one click. If the spot is large, you may have to do it in steps in order to make the repair look natural.
Click ̶0;File̶1; and select ̶0;Save as̶1; to save your edited image.
