Things You'll Need
Instructions
Prepare the pictures you want to use in your presentation. Because the images will be displayed on a large screen, they do not require the same resolution as prints. Reducing the DPI (dots per inch) in your photo editor program will allow you to switch quickly from one image to another during your presentation.
Arrange the images by using a program like Windows Movie Maker or Adobe Photoshop Elements. These programs allow you to easily change the order of the pictures as well as add text and music.
Practice the presentation a few times before you show it to your audience. If you choose to have the presentation run automatically, you will need to rehearse your script to make sure you stay in sync with the photos.
Arrive early at the place where you will do your presentation. Set up the projector, laptop and the screen. Test your presentation to make sure everything is working correctly. Adjust the lights prior to people arriving so the room is ready to go as soon as they are settled in their seats.
Begin the presentation and work through your script the way you rehearsed it.
