Things You'll Need
Instructions
Position a portable clothes rack in the room you are going to use to complete the product photography. The clothes rack will have two vertical poles with a horizontal pole connecting them across the top. This will be your backdrop stand.
Buy a solid color fabric shower curtain and curtain hooks. Place one hook into each eyelet on the shower curtain and hang the curtain on the clothes stand. This is a simple in-expensive method for a fabric backdrop. You can also use drapery panels, which may be available in more color and design options.
Buy several pieces of Bristol board of the same color. Lay each section out on the floor with them slightly overlapping each other. Run a strand of clear duct tape across the front where one sheet is resting on the other. Repeat this until all the sheets have been taped together.
Turn the sheets over and tape where the sections of Bristol board overlap each other. Use adjustable clamps or a strand of clear duct tape to attach the Bristol board backdrop to the top the clothes stand.
Position a small table in front of the backdrop and lay the Bristol board backdrop onto the table. This creates a "seamless" backdrop that gives you a picture with no break, seam or line between the backdrop and the foreground.
