How to Submit an Orb Picture for Analysis

Orbs are small usually circular points of translucent light that appear in pictures. While more prevalent in digitally created images, they can also appear in pictures taken on film. If you have a picture containing orbs that was taken on film, the website Ghost Research wants to see it. While the website was initially accepting images containing orbs that were shot with a digital camera, they no longer accept these images as many plausible explanations exist for how they might have been created.

Instructions

      Scan your picture or negative of the frame containing the orb and create a JPEG, GIF or BMP file. If you are scanning the picture, you can use a flatbed scanner set to scan pictures and save the image at the highest quality level.

      Include a text file indicating the type of camera and film used when the picture was taken. Also include the weather conditions at the time the picture was taken and the reason the picture was taken.

      Send your pictures via email to [email protected] or by mail. If you are mailing the original picture and you want it back, be sure to include a self addressed and stamped envelope with your submission in order to have it sent back to you. If you want your pictured added to the website, indicate your wish in the body of the email or in the text document you send with the camera and film information.
