Things You'll Need
Instructions
Select a clear or colored material you want to use for your diffusion panel. Vinyl shower curtains are a good option. They are relatively inexpensive and come in a variety of colors. Remember that the darker the color, the less light will come through, which will require the panel and light source being closer to your subject.
Insert three of the 12-inch PVC piping into the four elbow joints, creating a "U" shaped frame.
Insert the two 5-inch lengths of PVC piping into the "T" connector and insert this completed length into elbow joints to complete the square frame. This length will be the bottom of your frame.
Peel back the protective paper strip revealing the adhesive and apply on side of the Velcro to each side of the frame. Apply the other half of the Velcro strip to the material you have selected for the diffuser.
Align the Velcro strip on the material to the Velcro strip on the frame and secure the diffuser panel to the frame.
Insert the 4-inch length of PVC piping into the bottom of the "T" connector. Place the diffusion panel on a light stand, and position the panel in front of the studio strobes or continuous light source you are using.
Turn the lights on and observe the difference the panel has on the light as it shines through.
