How to Change the Attribute of Pictures

When a digital picture is created, there is a lot of data recorded into the file itself. Some of this data can be changed or eliminated in photo editing programs. You can also modify the attributes of the picture, such as its size, resolution and file format, using a photo editing program. There are a number of reasons why you may want to do this, including reducing the size of the photo if it is going to be on a website or changing the file type to suit a particular client

In here, you can change or remove the date when it was taken and add your name or a company name as the owner of the picture. Click "Ok" when all the changes have been made and they will be saved.

Click "File" and select "Save as" from the drop-down menu. Give your image a new name or title and select the format you want to save it in. JPEG is a widely-used format for saving pictures. You can also use a TIFF format that will retain more information from the image. If you are using Adobe Photoshop, you can use a PSD file format for you picture that retains the workflow steps for easy adjustment when you work on the picture again.
