How to Print Photos in Weird Colors

Photos in weird and unusual colors are used for many things from print advertisements to personal collages. Sometimes it is just entertaining to see the many different ways you can change a photo's colors. Photoshop offers a seemingly infinite amount of options you can do with a photograph. Some of the more basic tools the program offers are various ways to change and print photos in different colors.

Instructions

  1. Change Photo Filter

    • 1

      Open Photoshop CS3 and open the picture you would like to print by choosing "File" and "Open."

      Click on "Layer," and "Choose layer," and then select "New adjustment layer" and "Photo filter." A dialogue box for the photo filter appears.

      Select "Color option" and the color square to open the range of colors available. Pick any color you wish you print your photo in.

      Select "Layer" and "Merge layers." This flattens the layers, making it one layer. Select "File, save as" to save the photo. Type in a new name if you don't wish to replace the original.

      Turn on your printer and load paper into the dock. Click on "File," and then "Print."

    Invert Colors

      Open Photoshop CS3 and open the picture you would like to print by going to "File" and "Open."

      Click on "Layer," and "New adjustment layer," and then select "Invert" and "OK" in the dialogue box.

      Merge layers and save to your computer.

      Turn on your loaded printer and select "File," and then "Print."
