Things You'll Need
Instructions
Arrange the two disposable cameras next to one another, side by side, so that the lenses are as close as possible. Do not stack the cameras on top of each other. Most disposable cameras lenses are offset, so you may have to turn one of the cameras upside down. The lenses should be about 4 inches apart and in a straight line.
Tape the aligned cameras together with the duct tape. Make sure that you do not tape over the lens or viewfinder. If you do not plan on using the flash, you can tape over it. However, this can result in poor image quality and discoloration if a situation arises where the flash is necessary.
Press the shutter buttons on both cameras at the exact same time to take simultaneous photographs. You will need to use both hands, one for each camera. If your subject is in motion, it is especially important to take the photographs together. However, the shutters should be fired as closely together as possible in time in all situations.
Develop and print the images from both of the cameras. Cut the prints down to 3-inch-by-3-inch squares and lay the matching pairs with sides touching. The prints should be side-by-side, not one above the other. Using a stereo print viewer, look at the two images to see the 3-D effect.
