Things You'll Need
Instructions
Open an Internet search browser. Search and download free images and clip art that have a vampire design. Save the images and clip art in a folder on your computer.
Open Adobe Photoshop, GIMP or Paint.net. If you do not have any of these programs, download the software for GIMP or Paint.net from the Internet or the free trial version for Adobe Photoshop. Open the program after it has installed on your computer.
Click "File" in the navigation bar, and select "New" and then "Blank file" from the choices. In the dialogue box that opens, change the value for the size of your picture, change the background to "color," and select the color you want as your background. Click "OK," and the new blank file will be created.
Click "Layer" in the navigation bar, and select "New layer" from the drop-down menu. In the dialogue box, change "Mode" to "Overlay," and adjust the opacity to 50 to 75 percent. Do this for each layer of picture of clip art you will add. By changing this setting, you will allow the background color to shine through each layer that you add. Click "OK" to create the new layer.
Click the "Layer" thumbnail in the right margin. Click "File" in the navigation bar, and select "Place" from the drop-down menu. From here, use your computer's cursor to navigate to the folder containing the vampire images and clip art, and select the first item you want to add to the picture. Highlight the file, and click "OK" in the bottom right of the window to add the image to the picture. After the picture appears on the background, click the bounding box, and move your mouse to adjust the size and location of the item added. Click the green check mark to lock the item into place. If you want to move or edit the item later, you just need to click the layer thumbnail in the right margin.
Repeat this process until the layers have been added. Click "Layer," and select "Flatten image" from the drop-down menu. Click "File," and select "Save as." Give your new photo a name or title, and save the image to your computer's hard drive.
