Photograph Crease Removal

The advent of digital technology and its application in the world of photography has not only changed the way pictures are taken, it has given photographers tools to edit pictures that didn't exist before. In the days of film photography, if you had a crease in an element in your picture, you either had to live with it or spend a great deal of time touching up the negative. Now, you can use photo-editing programs to complete the process.

Open your photo-editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or GIMP. If you do not have either of these programs, connect to the Internet and download one of them. Photoshop is an advanced program that you purchase; GIMP is an open source program modeled on Photoshop. The names of the tools may be slightly different, but the steps are the same for both programs.
