Set your camera on a tripod. One of the easiest ways to ensure a clear photograph is to mount your camera on a tripod or rest your arm on a solid structure as you take the picture. This reduces "camera shake" in the photo, which causes blurry, out of focus pictures.
Properly focus your camera using either the autofocus mode or the manual focus mode.to make sure your picture looks good through the viewfinder. If the image is not clear in the viewfinder, the photograph will not be clear.
Abide by the length of lens rule to avoid blurry photographs caused by camera shake. The length of lens rule states that you should never use a shutter speed that is less than the length of lens you are using. This causes blurry pictures because the camera picks up on small movement. If you are using a tripod you don't need to consider the rule. So for example, if you are using a standard 50 mm lens, you should not use a shutter speed slower than 1/50th of a second.
Take several pictures of the same scene or object to ensure that you get the best, clearest photo possible. It's a cliché, but practice really does make perfect. Take lots of the same shot with various settings to make sure you capture the moment when it happens. Later on, you can select the clearest photograph from the lot.
Use programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to enhance your photographs. In the post production editing stage, apply sharpening filters and adjust the color and contrast of the picture to make it appear sharper and clearer. While editing will not make a blurry photo perfect, it will greatly enhance and already clear photograph.
