How to Make a Paper Bound Book From Digital Pictures Online

Navigate to a photo website that will allow you to build your own photo book, such as Snapfish, Kodak Gallery or Lulu. These websites will easily allow you to upload photos to create a photo book.

Create a user account by clicking the "Sign Up" link in the top right hand corner of the screen; fill out the necessary information. This will start your book making process on Snapfish. For Kodak Gallery, you will also sign up in the right hand corner by clicking "Join." On Lulu, select "Sign Up" to begin the process, which is also in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Select "Photo Books" underneath the "Shop" heading to be taken to the photo book options on Snapfish. When using the Kodak site, click "Photo Books" on the toolbar across the top of the page. For Lulu users, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Photo Books" which is under the "Publishing" subheading.

Scroll down to "Softcover Photo Books." Select the style and size of the photo book you would like. A menu of options will appear. This will enable you to create a Snapfish photo book. To create a Kodak Gallery photo book, you will also follow the options that come up after you choose the book you desire. For Lulu, it will be the same process.

Choose "Paper Cover" from the drop down once you've selected a style of book for a Snapfish book. Once the options for your chosen book come up on the Kodak site, choose "Softcover" from the options across the top of the page. On Lulu, your options screen will include two tabs, "Hardcover," and "Paperback." Select "Paperback" to create a paper bound book.

Click "Get Photos" on Snapfish to start uploading your digital photos to the site to place in your bound book. To upload photos to your Kodak Gallery book, choose "Click Here To Get Photos." For your Lulu photo book, click "Add Images," and then select "Upload Your Images."

Preview your photo book and make any necessary adjustments or additions to the photos or the layout of the book. You may add captions to your photos on any of the three websites. You will be allowed to preview the entire book and make any edits and changes before proceeding.

Click "Done" or "Save" and then "Add To Cart" when you are finished with your book. You will be taken to the payment screen to complete your order. Allow between one and two weeks for your customized photo book to be delivered. This is the standard shipping time for all three photo sites; you can check your shipment by using the tracking information provided.
