Things You'll Need
Instructions
Open Windows Movie Maker located under your "Start" menu in the Accessories folder.
Locate the pictures you wish to feature in your slideshow. These can be on CD, USB drive, or somewhere on your hard drive.
Highlight the pictures you are going to feature in your slideshow, then drag these pictures into the illustrated filmstrip at the bottom of the program screen. Thumbnails of your pictures will appear.
Right-click on each of your pictures and choose the length of time your picture will be displayed. The default length is 5 seconds.
Locate the music files you wish to have in your slideshow.
Highlight the icon for your music file and drag it to the beginning of the illustrated film strip at the bottom of your screen. Your music will appear as a colored line beneath your pictures.
Drag the edge to the left to shorten it and to the right to add length, in order to adjust the length of your song.
Select another song and drag it to the end of your first song in the illustrated filmstrip. This will appear as a different color next to your first song. If you want one song to fade into another, click the colored bar and drag it until it slightly eclipses the edge of the previous clip.
Go to the "File" tab at the top of the screen and save your video to upload it or share it.
