How to Create a Picture for Me & My Boyfriend

Pictures are a great way to remember special events or times with people who are important in your life. Creating a picture for any couple is a good way to mark a special occasion or celebrate a recent achievement. Rather than just taking a quick picture, take the time to consider all the factors that go into creating a really good picture. Once you do that you will be able to create a picture for you and your boyfriend that you will remember for years to come.

  Find a good background. Whether your picture will be inside or out, find a good backdrop. If you are taking the picture outdoors, it could be anything from a nice landscape of trees to impressive skyline of tall buildings. Whatever you choose pick a location that has some significance for the two of you, and don't stand too close to the background for the photo.

  Take the picture later in the day. The best time of day to take outdoor pictures is either early in the morning or late in the day, when the sun is lower in the sky. Late day and early morning sun creates a warm glow and produces nice shadow detail. It is also easier to look toward the sun at this time of day. Alternatively, take the picture when it is bright, but overcast day, or in open shade. That will create soft light and eliminate harsh shadows.

  Have someone take the picture. If you have a friend with you, she can do it, or ask a stranger to take the picture. If you are planning the picture in advance you can always bring a tripod or something to rest your camera on and take the picture with the timer.

  Wear clothing you feel confident in. If you are taking the time to plan this picture, then you and your boyfriend should plan what you are going to wear. Wear colors that match or complement each other and wear clothes that the two of you feel comfortable in. You'll get pictures of you and your boyfriend looking relaxed and feel confident.
