How to Find People's Pictures on the Internet

Digital technology has not only changed the way pictures are captured, edited and saved, it has also changed the way we can search for pictures. A digital photography is like any other digital file, it is made up of binary data that when compiled correctly appears as a picture. Within this data, additional information is recorded. Camera settings and the type of camera is recorded. With professional single lens reflex cameras you can have the photographer's name recorded into the pictures metadata when they are taken. This information can also be added in post production.

Desktop or laptop computer with Internet connection.

  Turn on your home desktop or laptop computer and connect to the internet. Open an internet search engine, such as Google or Bing.

  Type the name of the person into the search engine and press enter. The search engine will find any and all related items containing this name.

  Refine your search by changing the type of file you want to look to look for from "All" to "Photo's" or "Images," depending on the search engine you are using. Press the enter button again. Provided the individual whose pictures you are trying to find has inputted their name into their digital pictures before they were uploaded to the Internet, the pictures will come up.
