How to Send a Photo Card

Digital photography has made it very easy to share your pictures with friends and family. You can upload pictures to online galleries and invite others to view them. Another way to share pictures is to send them in cards. You can send e-cards or traditional cards. Whether you choose to send the pictures electronically or by mail, it begins with picking the picture you want to send.

  Save your picture to a memory card or CD.

  Go to your local photo retailer. Many photo retailers have specialty card printing where your photo can be printed right into a card.

  Order the number of photo cards you would like.

  Insert the card into a photographic mailer envelope, address and attach the correct postage and mail your photo card.

  Go to the website "eCardster" and, in the "Upload Your Photo Box," click the "Browse" button to locate the photo you want to send from your computer's hard drive.

  Click "Ok" to add the photo. Once uploaded, you can customize the card to your satisfaction and add text.

  Save the card, and send it to up to five individuals.

  Download a free photo card program such as Photo-Card-Maker to your home computer and create your own photo card. Open your email program and attach the photo card you just created and send to as many people as you like. This program provides over 100 templates for photo cards for all occasions.
