Family Portrait

• Mom's take pride seeing her children grow up, be successful and start families of their own. Send an annual Christmas card to your mom with a family portrait included in the design of the card. She will be sure to cherish it more than a generic Christmas card.

Holographic Picture Card

• The images viewed in a holographic picture changes as you tilt the card. These unique pictures can be commercially created and used as Christmas card gift. The images you select will be the integral part of the gift card. A good choice may be a picture of the family home in summer, and second picture taken from the same location of the house in winter time decorated for Christmas.

Raised Picture or 3D picture

• This type of picture is often used in a shadow box frame. However it can also be quite effective on the front of a card. You will need three to four copies of the same image and thin pieces of foam. Keep one picture as the base picture. Cut different elements out from the other copies. If the picture is of a Christmas tree, cut the Christmas tree out of the copies and glue small pieces of foam to the back of the cut out. Glue the cut out with the foam to the base picture. This will create a raised or 3D picture that can be attached to a homemade Christmas card.

Mosaic Picture

• A mosaic picture is a picture made of up many pictures. You can create these pictures using computer photo editing programs. The number of images and the style you want to create is up to your creativity. In the photo editing program, you can create a Christmas card using the Mosaic as the main front picture.
