How to Convert Photo Slides

One of the easiest ways to convert photo slides to a digital format is to purchase a slide scanning attachment that can be placed inside your existing scanner.      Clean the glass of your scanner with a soft cloth to prevent dust from showing up on your scanned images.

     Open your scanner and remove the transparent-materials adapter cover if your scanner has one.

     Place the slides into the slide-scanning attachment and place it on top of the scanner glass.

     Close the scanner and set your scan to "Slides or Positives" to get the best possible results.

     Save each slide image after the scanning process is complete.
