Instructions
Take a template you like and right-click and copy it. Open a new Storybook Creator page and right-click and paste. Stretch the template until it fills the whole page.
Click the "Insert" ribbon at the top of the page and create a new empty box. Go to the Format ribbon and change the opacity so the box becomes slightly see-through. Position the box over the template's photos. You will need to adjust the box's size to fit and you may need to rotate the box. To rotate the box, click the green circle at the top of the box and select the angle you want.
Repeat this procedure for all of the photo boxes in the template. This will often include boxes of different sizes. To create a text box, create an empty box, fill it with the color of your choice, then create a text box from the ribbon and fill in any text you want.
Hold the "Shift" key down and select all of the boxes you've created. Change the opacity back to non-see-through. Now you have empty photo boxes and you can change their colors or borders by clicking on "Format photos" on the ribbon.
Add photos by dragging them from the photo elements box on the right. Drag the photo into place and let go to paste it. You may have to edit the photos in Paint or Photoshop so they fit.
Choose a background for your template. This can be a photo of yours or a design copied from a website offering free background designs. Go to the right-hand element and click "Content," then select a background from the kits available or find your photo/prepared background. Right-click the image and set as background.
Save the template.
