How to Recover Lost Photo Images

Recovering lost photos from your digital camera or memory card is achieved by using one of the many different recovery programs that are available on the Internet. Some of these programs are free to use or may have free trial periods. Other programs are purchase only. Once downloaded to your computer, the process is very similar from program to program. Lost digital pictures, even those on drives that have been formatted will still exist on the memory card or camera disk until the space they occupy is used to save another photo.
