How to Edit a Photo Album

Photo albums, whether they are physical or online, need editing from time to time to remove unwanted images and add new ones. When film was the method of choice for shooting, many photographers had a number of photo albums to store their prints. While digital photos can still be printed, they often are displayed in online galleries, where they can be shared with family and friends. The principles for editing photos are the same for both options.

  Open the photo album you want edit, whether it is an online gallery or a physical photo album.

  Review the pictures that are in the album for quality or relevance to the theme of the album. If you have a number of albums, or you are starting to create more theme-based albums, edit older albums and move the appropriate pictures into the new albums.

  Delete or remove any photos that are no longer relevant to the album or will be replaced. Store the removed photos in a separate folder for digital files or collection box should you ever want to review them again.
