How to Use MD Minolta Lenses With a Digital Body

The move to digital cameras has been a boon to many photographers, both professional and consumer, but a large group has been left out in the cold. These photographers own many lenses and accessories for their film system, and most do not fit or work with the digital cameras. Additionally, most prime lenses for film cameras are faster, sharper and more solidly made than the kit lenses that come with most digital cameras. To help these photographers use their manual focus lenses on digital cameras, some manufacturers have made adapters that will perform that function.
