How to Get Your Picture on a Pillow Case

You can easily customize your bed by transferring your pictures to your pillowcases. Using an iron and transfer paper allows you to add your picture to any pillowcase, however white pillowcases work best. You can have one or more pictures on a pillowcase. Be aware that where your pictures are transferred, your pillowcase will be stiff.

Things You'll Need

Pillowcase
Iron-on transfer paper
Printer

Instructions

  Set your printer on "photo-quality" and print your picture. When printing your picture, be sure to print it in reverse or mirror image. Trim the excess paper from your picture.

  Plug in and preheat your iron to "High." Do not use steam.

  Put your picture face down on your pillowcase.

  Beginning at one corner, iron your image onto your pillowcase. Press firmly while ironing the picture until you have completely ironed the image.

  Allow the transfer to cool for three to five minutes.

  Detach the paper by stretching the fabric along the edges of the transfer and peel it back slowly.

  Put a white sheet of paper over the image and iron over the picture again.

  Turn your pillowcase inside out and wash it in warm water. Tumble dry and iron the pillowcase again before use.
