Instructions
Turn on your computer and open the photo editing program of your choice.
Click "File," then "New" and then "Blank file" from the drop-down menu. Enter the size you want your collage to be and set the DPI (dots per inch) to 300. You can select a color background now or choose it later. If you will be making multiple collages for a team or event, then you may want to create a "Template" using the same color each time. If so, after selecting the color, click "Save as" and select "PSD" in the file type and save the image as a template. This will save you time and effort with subsequent collages.
Click "File" and then select "Place" to add pictures to your collage. When you click "Place," a new window will open up where you can search for the pictures you want to add. Click on the picture with your mouse, click "Place" in the bottom right-hand corner of the window and the photo will appear in your collage. Repeat this step to add as many pictures as you like to your collage.
Click on the photo you just added and you will see a bounding box appear. You can rotate, move or adjust the size of the photo by clicking and moving these tabs.
Click on the "T" in the left margin of your program. This will allow you to add text to your collage. You can change the type and size of your text to match the text of your team or event.
Click "Layer" and then "Flatten image" to merge the pictures and text into one image that can be saved and printed.
Click "File" and select "Save as" to save your collage. Hit "print" to print your collage.
