Open the photo editing software you typically use to edit pictures, and open the photo you want to print on the new metallic paper.
Load the metallic paper into your inkjet printer the way you would load any other photographic paper. This type of paper does not require any special inks or handling prior to printing.
Click "File" and select "Print" from the drop-down menu. The digital file will now print on the metallic paper.
Remove the metallic paper from printer and lay it flat for 30 to 45 minutes to allow the ink to dry completely. Metallic paper has a different surface compared with traditional photographic paper. While it uses the same inks, it should be allowed to dry for a longer period of time.
Compare the printed image to the image on your screen. You may need to adjust the highlights or shadows in your picture to achieve the results you are looking for in the final printed product.
