How Can I Back Up Photos From Kodak EasyShare?

Kodak EasyShare is a system of products and services designed for the amateur photographer. Beginning with Kodak EasyShare compact digital cameras, photographers can choose the camera model that best suits the type of photography they practice. After shooting, downloading and editing the images on their home computer using Kodak EasyShare editing software, those pictures can be uploaded to the photographer's Kodak EasyShare webpage, where the pictures can be viewed by anyone who has access to the page. The images can also be backed up to prevent accidental loss.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your computer and connect to your Kodak EasyShare webpage by entering your unique "User ID" and then your private "Password."

    • 2

Insert a blank archival DVD into the DVD burner drive on your computer. If you are backing up the images to an external drive or any other type of media, write down the letter of the port the drive is connected to. You should back up your online photos on a regular basis. Whether you choose to back them up after every new upload or based on a certain time frame, weekly or monthly, remain consistent so you minimize the risk of lost images.

Click "Tools" in the navigation bar in the Kodak EasyShare webpage. Click "Backup My Collection," and then click "Computer" and select the drive icon you are backing the images up to. Once selected, click "OK" to begin the backup.
