How to Make a Projector Enlarge a Picture

Some pictures, such as large group portraits or intricate landscapes, contain a lot of detail--and, if you would like to get a better view, you'll benefit by enlarging them. While a photographic print remains one size, an image from a 35mm slide of a photo can have a variable size, depending on how you project it. You can make a projector enlarge a picture by following a few easy instructions.

Instructions

    • 1

Fasten the projector's table clamp to the edge of a table.

    • 2

Place a 35mm slide in the projector's slide mount.

    • 3

Plug in the power cord to a wall socket, then turn on the projector.

    • 4

Loosen the projector's suspension clamp and move the projector head up to enlarge the projected image on the table. The higher you raise the projector head, the larger the image will be.

    • 5

Move the lens in and out to focus the image.
