Trading Cards
Take a posed picture of your child in his team uniform or use an action shot if you were able to capture a decent one. Import the picture to your favorite scrapbooking or photo-editing software program. Create a frame or apply the picture to a background. Add your child's name to the front. Create a back side for your picture and use the space to add your child's stats. Include height and weight, the position he or she played and the number of wins and losses the team experienced for the year. This is a creative and fun way to help him remember his Little League experience. If you're feeling ambitious, complete a set for each member of the team so the kids can trade cards.
Team Pictures
A Little League Baseball team may be your child's first experience playing on a team. Learning to cooperate as a team is just as important as learning the fundamentals of the game. One of the first lessons in cooperation can be posing for a team picture. It may help to have a fellow parent as an assistant. A standard pose places one row of standing players behind a row of kneeling players with the coaches flanking each side. Remind each player as you pose them that if they can't see you, you can't see them either.
Action Shots
Every enthusiastic baseball player wants to remember the time he caught the ball that ended the inning or slid into home base to score the winning run. Set your camera to action mode, and, if you have the capability, take continuous shots of the action. Follow the player through an entire play to ensure that you've gotten the shot. Arrange your pictures according to sequence to reenact the moment.
