How to Make a Slideshow for a Photo Frame

Digital photo frames are becoming all the rage in photography display. Many people are now integrating them into their homes because they are a safer way to preserve and display your pictures. Unlike paper formats, the digital format does not fade or rip, so it lasts longer. If you want to make a slideshow for a photo frame, all you need are the most basic of computer skills.

  • MicroSD memory card
  • MicroSD memory card USB adapter
  • Computer
  • Photos
  • Digital photo frame

Instructions

      Remove the microSD memory card from the photo frame. The microSD memory card is usually located on the bottom side of the digital photo frame. Open the covering to the microSD memory card slot. Push in on the microSD memory card to cause it to eject from the frame.

      Insert the microSD memory card into the microSD memory card USB adapter. Plug the USB adapter into the USB port of your computer.

      Locate the photos on your computer hard drive that you wish to make a slideshow of on your photo frame. Simply drag and drop the photos to the microSD memory card USB drive to add them to the memory card.

      Remove the USB adapter from the USB port. Remove the memory card from the USB adapter. Insert the memory card back within the digital photo frame.

      Turn on the digital photo frame. Use the user controls (usually located near the bottom of the frame) to select the photos you wish to use in your slideshow or to set up a random slideshow display.
