How to Attach a Photograph Within the Text of an Email

Sending a picture in an email can be beneficial for many people. There are some workplaces that only allow readers to see what is in the email. They are unable to click on links or attachments. Embedding a photograph in the body of an email is a simple process.

      Create a new message. Insert the email address of the person you want to receive the email in the "To" line.

      Select "Insert" from the top Menu bar and choose "Picture."

      Click "Browse" on the dialogue box that appears. A second dialogue box will open.

      Choose the picture that you want in the email from its location on your computer and select "Open." The dialogue box will close.

      Click "OK" on the "Picture" dialogue box. Your photograph is now inserted in the text portion of your email.
