How to Create a Photo Show With Music to Put on a DVD

You can make your own photo slide show to watch on your television. Create themed slides featuring your favorite photographs from a vacation, birthday party, baby shower or even a wedding. There is no need to purchase expensive software, design your own menu and add your favorite music or choose a theme song for the photo show using software pre-installed on your computer. Custom photo slide shows make great gifts for grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles or other faraway family and friends.

Instructions

  Open Windows DVD Maker by clicking on "Start", All Programs and then select the software from the available options.

  Click on "Choose Photos and Videos" once the software has opened. Select "Add Items" and then choose the photo files you would for your slide show.

  Arrange the photos you have chosen in any order your like by clicking on each photo and dragging it to the location you would like it to be.

  Click "Customize Menu" then, type your photo menu information and add a photograph to serve as the background for your DVD menu.

  Select "Slide Show" and then "Add Music" to choose a music file from your computer. Click "Open" to add the music to your photo show.

  Place a DVD-R in to your DVD drive and click "Burn" on the DVD Maker software.
