How to Transfer Photos From a Razr to a PC for Free

There are several options for transferring photos from your Razr cell phone to your computer for free. Often we take pictures with our cell phones because no other camera is available and there is a photo worthy moment at hand. At other times, we use our cell phone to take pictures of something that we need to remember later.

Things You'll Need

USB cable
Memory card
Card reader

Instructions

USB Cable

  Connect your Razr phone to your computer via the USB cable.

  Go to ̶0;My Computer̶1; and click on the drive labeled as your camera phone.

  Create a new file folder by right clicking with the mouse. Choose ̶0;New̶1; and ̶0;File Folder.̶1; Give the file a name.

  Select the images you would like to save by clicking on them and dragging them to the new folder you created.
Memory Card

  Remove the memory card from your cell phone.

  Connect the card reader, with the memory card installed, to your computer.

  Go to ̶0;My Computer̶1; and click on the drive of the memory card.

  Right click with the mouse and create a new folder by selecting ̶0;New̶1; and ̶0;New Folder.̶1; Name the folder.

  Select the photos you wish to keep and drag them to your new folder.
