How to Fix Motion Blur in Your Digital Photos

Motion blur in photographs is often caused by the camera shaking while you are taking the picture. The best way to solve this problem is to use a tripod while taking the photo, but that cannot always be done. If a tripod is not an option, you can often prop the camera on a stable surface while taking the picture. However, there is a way to repair motion blur found in digital photos, if you have a little patience.

     Using the link in the Resources section, download Focus Magic.

     Double click the Focus Magic icon to run the program.

     Select ̶0;Fix Motion Blur.̶1; Line your photograph up with the ̶0;Blur Direction̶1; control in the image editor.

   • 4

     Select the ̶0;Blur Distance̶1; option and adjust the parameters until your photograph no longer shows blur. The higher the parameter, the more blur the tool will eliminate.
