How to Upload From Kodak Cameras

Digital cameras have made the lives of amateur photographers much easier. There̵7;s no more guessing as to whether or not your pictures turned out, because of the instant gratification offered by digital cameras and the ability to view your photos right away on the camera̵7;s LCD screens. Those pictures will do you little good, however, if you don̵7;t transfer them to your computer. Once you do this, you̵7;ll be able to view your photos on a larger scale, print them, e-mail them to friends and family or spruce up your social networking sites by uploading the photos to them.

Things You'll Need

Computer with CD drive
Kodak Easyshare software
USB cable

Instructions

Installing the Kodak Easyshare Software on Your Computer

  Close all programs and applications on your computer.

  Insert the Kodak Easyshare software CD into your computer̵7;s CD drive. The installation CD should launch automatically. If it doesn̵7;t and you̵7;re using a PC, click on the ̶0;Run̶1; button from the start menu and type ̶0;d:\\setup.exe̶1; into the box and press the enter button. If you̵7;re using a Mac, double-click the CD icon on your desktop and then click the ̶0;Install̶1; icon from within the folder.

  Follow the onscreen instructions to download the software to your computer.
Uploading Photos From Your Camera to Your Computer

  Turn the power off on your camera by pressing the power button on the top of the camera.

  Connect your Kodak camera to your computer using the USB cable that came with your camera and turn the power on your camera on.

  Click ̶0;Add pictures to an album̶1; if you want to add the pictures to an album that you̵7;ve already created or type the name of what you want the folder to be called into the software.

  Click on the ̶0;Select and Transfer̶1; option in the software. Click on ̶0;Transfer selected pictures̶1; in the software and click on the photo(s) you want to transfer to your computer.

  Click the ̶0;Done̶1; button in the software and the pictures will copy from your Kodak camera to your computer.
