How to Recover the Picture on a Cybershot

Reformatting or deleting pictures on a cybershot camera can be a real hassle. Pictures from special occasions that are lost can be heartbreaking. However, deleted pictures can be recovered from a cybershot with an Internet connection and some patience.

  Just as soon as you have realized your mistake in deleting or reformatting pictures on a cybershot, stop taking pictures on that card.

  Connect your camera to your computer via a USB cable.

  Download the ArtPlus Digital Photo Recovery from the link below.

  Run the program via the dialogue box and choose "Run Digital Photo Recovery."

  Click "Next" and select the drive of your cybershot. Choose a folder where you would like to save your recovered photos.

  Click "Start" to begin the scan process of your camera. The time of the scan may range from a few minutes to a few hours.

  A dialogue box will alert you when the scan is done and you can save your pictures to your desired location.
