How to Create Glamour Photos
Decide on a photo shoot location. Even though glamour photos are often zoomed-in head shots, taking full body pictures that utilize a fairly neutral background can often be successful. Find or create a simple backdrop to display behind your model.
Check to see that the camera, and any accompanying equipment needed, is ready ahead of time. Waiting until your model is fully ready is not the time to realize you should already have charged your battery.
Locate clothing for the model as desired. Depending on your specific tastes, glamour shot clothing can be either sophisticated or fairly plain in order not to take away from the model̵7;s face and beauty. Determine what is preferred by model and photographer and proceed accordingly, utilizing additional props as desired.
Apply makeup on the model̵7;s face; add body foundations and bronzers to the model̵7;s skin (neck, arms and legs) as needed. Makeup products should have a matte finish and be applied dramatically enough to be picked up by the camera.
Conduct the photo shoot. Take a variety of shots from a variety of angles. Adjust the background and lighting as needed.
Edit the photographs as desired. After your photo shoot is completed, consider using an editing program on the computer to digitally airbrush skin, dramatize makeup, accentuate desirable features, etc.
