How to Take Rapid Exposures With a Nikon D80

Capturing fast-action shots is one of the great advantages to owning a digital SLR camera such as the Nikon D80. The ability to control light sensitivity, shutter speed, and aperture gives perfect control over each exposure, allowing a photographer to create custom settings that document the action with great results. Rapid exposure, similar to a film camera's motor drive, allows the photographer to take a succession of exposures with one press of the shutter release. This allows photographers to take action shots while being assured of getting the crucial moment. Setting the rapid exposure feature on the Nikon D80 is a straightforward process using the camera's menu screens.
