How to Scan a 35 mm Slide

To scan a slide there must be a light source above the slide. When the scanner starts, the bottom light turns off and the top light turns on. The light from above shines down through the 35mm slide onto the sensors in the scanner bed. This is how the image is captured. If you already know how to scan a printed photograph you can easily scan a slide.
