Make a Calendar with Photos
Select your pictures. To make a calendar with photos you'll need 12 different photos. These can be snapshots of your friends or family or even nature scenes from your favorite vacation. You'll probably be looking at your calendar every day, so choose photos that make you smile.
Edit your photos. Most free calendar makers have limitations. You usually can't edit your photo directly in the software. Spruce up your pictures before you create the calendar. Use photo-editing software to crop the picture, remove red eye, and orient the pictures correctly. Your photos should appear the way you want them on the calendar.
Choose a theme for each month. A photo calendar gives you something to look forward to throughout the year. Choose photos that correlate with the season. During the summer, choose bright colors or scenes from a family reunion.
Create your photo calendar. Select the photo on your computer and upload it to the software. Choose the size that you want your finished product to be. Pick the month and year of the calendar you want to print out. You can create a photo calendar even if you didn't remember the project at the beginning of the year. Push the create button. The program automatically adds in the correct dates for each year. Save the calendar page to your computer. Repeat this process for every month you want in your calendar.
Personalize your photo calendar. The free calendar software might not come with a lot of creative options. Open your page in a photo-editing program such as Photoshop or Gimp. This gives you an opportunity to be creative. Add fun borders or frames around the pictures. Use a birthday cake symbol on the calendar so you don't forget special occasions. Create a cover for your calendar that has your favorite photo on it and the year written in big letters.
Print your project. Use a heavy cardstock or photo paper so your calendar will last throughout the year.
Bind the calendar. You might want to keep your project simple and hang up a new month on a bulletin board as the old month ends. Use staples in the center of the calendar if you want to keep all of the months together.
