Use photo-editing software to crop the picture, remove red eye, and orient the pictures correctly. Your photos should appear the way you want them on the calendar.

  Choose a theme for each month. A photo calendar gives you something to look forward to throughout the year. Choose photos that correlate with the season. During the summer, choose bright colors or scenes from a family reunion.

Create a cover for your calendar that has your favorite photo on it and the year written in big letters.

  Bind the calendar. You might want to keep your project simple and hang up a new month on a bulletin board as the old month ends. Use staples in the center of the calendar if you want to keep all of the months together.
