How to Find Creative Uses For A Digital Camera When Traveling

Traveling can be stressful so put your digital camera and its photos to some creative uses to safeguard you and your possessions while on the road.

Instructions

    • 1

When traveling, use your digital camera to take a photo of the lot sign (or bus stop) where you parked your car. No need to write the information down, where it will invariably be lost. Just review the camera photo when you return to easily find where you left your car.

When you're traveling, take a few photos with your camera of your luggage. That way, if your luggage goes missing, you can just pull out your camera to show to the airline clerks - much easier than trying to describe that red yarn with yellow strands tied around the handle.

    • 3

When traveling in a foreign country where you don't speak the language, take a photo of your hotel along with the nearest street sign to show to a taxi driver. So much easier than butchering your high school french.

    • 4

Use your camera to take a photo of your passport, and lock the photo so it cannot be accidentally deleted. In case you lose your passport, it will be easier to get a replacement if you have the information readily available.

If traveling with a pet, take some detailed photos of your pet in case he disappears. You might even make up a lost poster and take a picture just in case. Lock the photo so it cannot be easily deleted.
