Connect your Kindle to your computer with the Kindle's USB cable.
Click "Open Folder to View Files" on your Windows desktop. A folder that contains the contents of your Kindle displays.
Drag the e-book you want to transfer on your Kindle from its current location on your hard drive to the Kindle Documents folder. Windows will copy it.
Click the "Safely Remove" button in the task bar. Click "Eject Kindle." Remove the USB cable when Windows tells you it is safe to do so.
