Instructions
Take a piece of newspaper and fold it in half; the open side of the fold should face your body.
Fold the paper in half again; apply pressure to the top of the fold to make a crease in the center of the paper. Release the paper to view the crease. This is not a permanent fold.
Fold the top edges of both sides of the newspaper toward the center. Use the crease as a guideline to ensure straight folds. Both folds should meet evenly in the center of the paper, making a triangle. About 3/4 of the paper should be folded toward the center; the bottom portion of the paper should remain unfolded.
Place your hand inside the open fold on the bottom of the newspaper. Fold one side of the bottom upward, then flip the paper over and repeat on the other side.
Place both hands inside the opening at the bottom of the boat to adjust its shape and width.
