How to Upload Books to Pandigital Novel

Load Books to Internal Memory

  Save the Epub or PDF format book to your desktop. Plug the large end of the USB cable into your computer and the smaller USB end into the the Mini USB port on the e-reader. The computer will recognize the Pandigital Novel as an external storage device named "PD_Novel".

  Open the Pandigital Novel drive on the computer. On a Windows computer the drive will be located under "My Computer" with the internal hard drive and optical drives. On a Macintosh computer the drive will appear on the desktop after being plugged in.

  Copy the book file from the Desktop to the eBooks folder on the device. Cover images for uploaded ebooks must have the same name as the companion ebook file, must be in jpg format, must be less than 10KB and must be copied into the eBooks/.thumbnail folder.

Load books to SD card

  Save the ebook file to your desktop. Insert the SD card into your computer or an attached card reader. Open the SD card drive on the computer. On a Windows computer the card will be located under "My Computer." On a Macintosh computer the card will appear on the desktop after being plugged in.

  Open the card directory and copy over the ebook file. Eject the SD card from the computer.

  Insert the card into the Pandigital Novel. Select "Import SD" in the Application Quick Launch Bar. In the Import Media window check the box next to "eBook" and tap "Import". The books will appear in the device's library.
