How to Read the Daily Newspaper for Thunder Bay, Ontario

The Canadian province of Ontario is much more than just the city of Toronto and its suburbs. It would take almost three full days to drive from one end to the other. Thunder Bay is an isolated city about six hours away from the Manitoba border, and it has a single daily newspaper, The Chronicle-Journal. How you find it and go about reading it is a matter of personal preference, but following some simple guidelines can make it easier.

Instructions

    • 1

Run the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to get the most out of The Chronicle-Journal website. It uses text, pictures and HTML code, including some Java animation for the advertisements.

    • 2

Look for top stories and most recent news on the left of the front page. You will find editorials and letters from the public in the center column. Read detailed information on local weather in the top-right corner. Local advertisements are on the left side of the front page.

    • 3

Use the horizontal menu at the top of the page for quicker access to different sections of the newspaper, such as sports, entertainment and classified ads.
